On April 4th, 1998, Robert Joyal was stabbed to death in a Denny’s parking light. By some accounts,dozens of people stood within feet of my brother as he lost his life, yet only 2 people every came forward to say they saw what happened. Both accounts were later discredited.	On September 10, 2017, 54 year old Sunao “Thomas” Yamada was found deceased near Temple Street. Cause of death is not being released.	On February 27, 2017 Bryan “Kage” Garcia was found deceased in his car on Chadwick Street in Portland’s West End. Police are asking anyone with information about this homicide to come forward
James Angelo On September 7, 2008 at approximately 4:00am Portland Police responded to the Mercy Hospital parking lot on Winter Street. The victim, 27 year‐old James Angelo a security guard at Mercy Hospital was conducting a check of the doctor’s parking lot when he was shot and killed.	Henry Champagne 1991 On February 15, 1991 Portland Police were called to 633 Congress Street, Apt 10 to check the well‐being of 62 year‐old Henry Champagne. Officers discovered Champagne deceased. Champagne was seen alive on February 13, 1991. Cause of death is not being released.	Mary Ann Deragon On September 12, 1985, officers located the body of 32 year‐old Mary Ann Deragon near the tree line between Riverton School and Farnham Street. Cause of death is not being released
Maude Holden 1994 On October 27, 1994, 73 year‐old Maude Holden died from the results of arson at the apartment building she lived in at 527 Washington Avenue. Holden was trapped in the building due to the fire which was started on an adjacent floor	Allen MacLean 2011 In the early morning hours of August 1, 2011, 41 year‐old Allen MacLean was shot outside of 4 Massachusetts Avenue. McLean fled toward Con‐ gress Street where he collapsed and died	Darien Richardson 2010 In the early morning hours of January 8, 2010, 25 year‐old Darien Richardson and her boyfriend, Corey Girard were shot by intruders while sleeping in their bedroom at 25 Rackleff St. The two were treated at the hospital and were expected to recover. Richardson later died of her injury. The family has offered a $10,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person(s) re- sponsible.
Scott Sampson On November 13, 1990 at about 1:53 am Portland Police Officers respond‐ ed to the Pine Street Variety at 64 Pine Street for an unconscious male on the sidewalk. When Officers arrived they found Scott Sampson deceased. It was later determined that Sampson’s death was a homicide. The cause of death is not being released.	Taquan Samuels 2010 In the early morning hours of July 25, 2010, 22 year‐old Taquan Samuels was shot and killed leaving a party at 55 Allen Ave. Samuels a resident of Brooklyn, NY, had recently moved to the 55 Allen Ave. apartments.	Sarina Towle 1994 On the morning of March 25, 1994, 2 year‐old Sarina “Pretty” Towle was found murdered in her bedroom on Danforth Street. She lived there with her mother, two brothers and the mother’s boyfriend. Cause of death is not being released.
Frank Williams 2008 During the early morning hours of August 16, 2008, 37 year‐old Frank Wil‐ liams walked to Kennedy Park. An altercation took place between Wil‐ liams and a large group of males. Williams was chased to the middle of the Fox Street soccer field where he was beaten and stabbed multiple times.	Than Yim 2009 In the early morning hours of December 20, 2009, 33 year‐old Than Yim died of wounds he received during an altercation involving a large group of individuals in the parking lot of Thanah Thanah Bida Club, 250 Read Street. Cause of death is not being released.
