LePage review leaves cold case squad position unfilled

AUGUSTA, Maine — Gov. Paul LePage is reviewing the funding of a victims’ rights advocate position for Maine’s first cold case squad, and its backers are concerned that the job will go unfilled, officials said Wednesday.

AUGUSTA, Maine — Officials from the Maine attorney general’s office will tell the Legislature’s Appropriations Committee on Thursday why the state’s first cold case squad is being formed months later than expected, officials said Monday.
